Helen Tegeler is known for her colorful and playful artwork. Her glass work is on display in Canada, England and the United States. Helen has been working with glass since 1994 and has experience ranging from glass production to glass arts instruction. After earning her BFA from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, she attended Sheridan College in Ontario for advanced studies. Helen has also participated in, and assisted in instruction for specialized workshops across Canada and the United States; these include Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, The Corning Studio, Harbourfront Centre and Penland School of Crafts. Helen uses the Graal process to create vibrantly patterned vessels, whose themes primarily derive from nature. |
