Mezuzot |

| The
Mezuzah is a prayer scroll containing the words of the
"Shema" , an important prayer in the Jewish
faith. Its central message is Oneness and the Shema
commands us to place a reminder of this on our doorposts.
The hanging of the mezuzah can be very personal and take on many symbolic purposes. It serves as an object to catch our attention, allowing an opportunity to pause, reflect, and be more conscious each time we enter or leave a place. When I leave my home, the mezuzah reminds me to stay positive and bring good things into the lives of the people I meet. When I come home, it reminds me to slow down, relax, and focus on my environment. The message of oneness reminds me to be tolerant of things, situations or people I encounter that I might otherwise consider different or threatening, and to try and see some of those things within my own self. The traditional scroll to be placed inside is the shema, but your own written meditation on space, home, or oneness can be substituted. The mezuzah can be placed on any door except the bathroom. These mezuzah was made by hand in a limited edition of 250. Each one is signed and numbered
